ANEK Lines and Attica Group are pleased to announce the signing of a joint service agreement for the deployment of vessels of the two companies in the following routes:

PATRAS – IGOUMENITSA – ANCONA with HELLENIC SPIRIT, SUPERFAST VI and SUPERFAST XI

and

PIRAEUS – HERAKLION, CRETE, with OLYMPIC CHAMPION and SUPERFAST XII .

The agreement aims to optimise the capacity offered in the Patras – Igoumenitsa – Ancona route, so as to better reflect the current demand of the route while maintaining the high quality of services offered today and to further improve the services offered in the Piraeus – Heraklion route with the deployment of the new and modern ferry Olympic Champion. The ultramodern Olympic Champion offers daily connections to and from Heraklion in cooperation with the technologically advantaged SUPERFAST XII enabling in this way the implementation of 4 routes per day.

The new joint service creates new dynamics for the development of both routes and helps curtail the continuously rising vessel operating costs.

The routes of Venice with ANEK Lines and Bari with Superfast Ferries are not affected and will continue to operate without any alteration with the same fleet deployment.
